Messi’s real estate trust hits €223m market value

Lionel Messi’s real estate investment trust, Edificio Rostower Socimi debuted on the Spanish market at €57.4 per share, with a market capitalisation of €223 million ($232.12 million).

The trust, chaired by Messi and vice-chaired by his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, owns seven hotels in Spain and Andorra, as well as office spaces and apartments in Spain, London, and Paris.

Founded in 2013, the company posted a €1.7 million loss in 2023. Most of its investments are concentrated in Catalonia, where Messi lived during his FC Barcelona career.

The eight-time Ballon d’Or winner has expressed plans to return to Barcelona with his family after retiring. Other board members include Alfonso Nebot, who manages Messi’s family office, and Ramon Adell, a board member of Spanish energy company Naturgy.
