Meta introduces Channels on WhatsApp

Meta Platforms announced WhatsApp Channels on Thursday, a feature that the social media giant said would help make the app a “private broadcast messaging product.”

The new feature will be available in Singapore and Colombia first, and it will be available in other countries through the coming months.

Meta also said that users will be able to follow content on their sports teams, updates from local official, hobbies, and so much more.
