Misr Egypt Mulls Selling 2 Floating Hotels

Misr Egypt Company is mulling over selling 2 of its floating hotels between Luxor and Aswan, they are Scheherazade and Shahryar floating hotels, and substituting them with new floating one next year.

General Fouad Sanad, Misr Travel Chairman, has elaborated that the company has 3 floating hotels between Luxor and Aswan; they are Scheherazade, Shahryar and Nephtis. There activities are mainly activate in winter season, between October and April, and become intensive on Nile cruises.

Sanad added that the company will develop the floating hotel of Nephtis, which started its services in 1996. As to EGP 4 million are allocated for its development within 2 months.
