Mo Salah, Rami Malek spotted together at Time100 gala
The two Egyptian idols celebrated being in TIME’s list of the 100 most influential people on the planet.
Last night, the world’s most influential people were spotted into New York City for the 15th annual TIME 100 gala. Among the attendees was Egypt and Liverpool footballer, Mohamed Salah and the Egyptian American Oscar winning Actor Rami Malek.
However, Salah wasn’t the only Arab to be included in the prestigious list. He was joined by the likes of: HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; American-Egyptian actor Rami Malek; Yemeni human-rights activist Radhya Al-Mutawakel and Saudi women rights activist Loujain Alhathloul.
Mo-Salah the 26-year-old, who is arguably the most famous man in the Arab world was chosen as one of six cover stars for the magazine’s annual issue.
At the gala, which was filled with the biggest names in the entertainment industry, Mohamed and Rami were photographed together.
In February, the 37-year-old actor became the first Egyptian to win an Oscar for Best Actor for his portrayal of the legendary Freddie Mercury.
The event, which was held at the Lincoln Center included athletes, celebrities and pioneers – each of whom have contributed to their communities over the past year.
Mohamed was also photographed with several other influential figures, including Radhya. He also posed for a photo on the red-carpet with late-night host Jimmy Fallon and the Mother of Dragons herself, Emilia Clarke.
