Egypt’s leading construction firm, Mokhtar Ibrahim, starts rerouting utility infrastructure that intersects with the planned construction site of the the third phase of Cairo Metro Line 3 today, said Mohamed Alkhatib Wednesday
The rerouting works would cost a total amount of 170 million Egyptian pounds; in addition, it would be finished within 6 months, the company’s Deputy Chairman of Financial & Administrative Affaires and Director.
Lately, Egypt’s government has signed a contract with Mokhtar Ibrahim to reroute utility infrastructure so as to pave the way to implement the third phase of the Cairo metro’s third line.
Once fully completed in 2020, the third line will run from Cairo airport to Cairo University, passing through downtown and the densely populated working-class district of Imbaba.
