Morocco’s inflation falls to 4.9% in July
Morocco’s inflation fell to 4.9 percent year-on-year (YoY) in July compared to 5.5 percent in the June, according to the High Commission for Planning (HCP) is the Moroccan national statistics office on Tuesday.
The data shows that the food prices are the main driver for inflation in Morocco by 11.7 percent from a year earlier, while non-food inflation increased by 0.4 percent. On a month-on-month basis, the index rose by 0.3 percent.
