Egypt’s construction firm, Moukhtar Ibrahim says it is planning to complete two drinking water plants in Sixth of October and New Cairo cities within the next two years.
The total cost of the two projects is worth 900 million Egyptian pounds ($49.6 million).
Mohamed Alkhatib, Deputy Chairman of Financial and Administrative Affairs and Director, said Saturday that Moukhtar Ibrahim is currently implementing the second phase of Sixth of October Water Plant project.
“We will deliver the project within two years, at a cost of 500 million pounds,” Alkhatib noted.
About New Cairo’s drinking water plant, the Egyptian official further added that the cost of the station is worth 400 million pounds.
Alkhatib referred that Moukhtar Ibrahim also carries out a number of other water plants and waste water networks in three governorates in Upper Egypt, with cost estimated at 700 million pounds.
“The company targets finishing these projects in mid-2018,” he showed.
