MSMEDA’s portfolio for micro projects mounts to EGP 2.5 bln
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA)’s portfolio for micro projects has increased to 2.5 billion Egyptian pounds by the end of June 2018 with an increase of 500 million pounds compared to a year earlier, Nevine Badr El Din, Micro Finance Central Sector Director said.
Badr told Amwal Al Ghad that MSMEDA has pumped 1.5 billion pounds to fund the micro projects during the first half of 2018, adding that it seeks to inject 1.5 billion pounds more by the end of 2018.
Badr further noted that MSMEDA seeks to establish micro-finance company within the upcoming period.
It is worth mentioning that MSMEDA own 20 percent of Reefy – Micro Finance Enterprise Services Co.
