A Cairo criminal court will hold a hearing on Sunday in the retrial of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and his associates on charges of killing protesters and exporting fuel to Israel.
Also standing trial in the case are Mubarak’s sons, Gamal and Alaa and his interior minister Habib al-Adli and six of his aides.
The court heard the testimony of Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi on Saturday and is expected to hear the testimony of former army general Sami Anan in a closed session on Sunday.
Mubarak and his associates are accused of participating in the killing of peaceful protesters and spreading chaos during the January 25 uprising, among other things.
