Mubarak’s EGP 18 Mln Transferred To CBE On Al-Ahram Gifts Case

The Egyptian chief public prosecutor Talaat Ibrahim has ordered the transfer of EGP 18.286 million, belonging to the deposed president Hosni Mubarak to Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The chief public prosecutor has earlier ordered the seizure of the funds belonging to Mubarak, his wife and two sons before the recent order for allegedly receiving precious gifts from the leading state-owned Al Ahram press institution in violation to the law.
