National Bank of Egypt wins Global Brands two awards

National Bank of Egypt, the country’s largest state bank, has scooped two awards at the annual ceremony in South Africa hosted by UK Global Brands magazine.

Global Brands has awarded NBE the Best Retail Bank in North Africa and the Best Commercial Bank in North Africa, both for 2019.

Sherif Shaaban, chief representative officer of NBE in South Africa, has received the two awards at the annual ceremony which was attended by high-profile global fiscal and banking policy-makers.

These awards add to a growing number of prestigious recognitions that demonstrate NBE’s significant banking activity in terms of profitability as well as introducing innovative products and services that cater to all customers’ needs, Shaaban said in a statement on Wednesday.
