The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has turned down a request submitted by the Principal Bank for Development and Agricultural Credit for a protocol of cooperation for establishing ATMs.
The Principal Bank for Development and Agricultural Credit Sought to sign protocol of cooperation with NBE to help it in establishing ATMs in the bank’s branches which will be launched, but NBE apologized saying it will not be able to take such move in the current period.
PBDAC has more than 1200 branches and most of which are equipped with ATMs.
It is worth mentioning that NBE signed a protocol of cooperation with the Industrial Development and Workers Bank of Egypt to establish ATMs at the bank’s headquarters and 17 branches.
