Head of SMEs at National Bank of Egypt (NBE) Soha Soliman revealed that the cumulative finance portfolio of the bank for SMEs increased to EGP12.9 billion within the fiscal year which ended in 2013/2014 compared to EGP9.1 billion in the previous year.
In a statements to Amwal Al Ghad , Soliman explained that the volume of finance that granted from the bank in the last fiscal year recorded around EGP8 billion.
NBE has recently signed finance contracts with Social Fund for Development (SFD) worth EGP135 million for financing all the commercial, service and industrial activities.
