Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Sherif Farouk and State Council President Ahmed Abboud witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol on Monday to grant judicial bodies access to commercial register data.
The agreement comes in support of Egypt’s digital transformation strategy. Moreover, it enables the State Council to access commercial register data directly through the government’s digital exchange platform, under the supervision of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. It allows for data retrieval using national ID numbers, tax numbers, or commercial registration details.
Farouk said the protocol reflects institutional integration and enhances the speed and accuracy of judicial work, reaffirming the ministry’s commitment to expanding smart government services.
