Newly formed Egypt-UAE Business Council to hold first meeting January 2016

Egypt-UAE Business Council is to hold its first meeting after its new formation in January 2016, minister of trade Tarek Qabil stated Saturday.

The meeting is to discuss the mechanisms of developing the joint relations between Egypt and UAE.

The minister made these remarks during his meeting with Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber- UAE’s minister of state- and his accompanying mission.

During the meeting, the two parties talked over the means of strengthening the bilateral cooperation notably in the developmental projects that are executed in cooperation with the Emirati side such as the Egyptian Emirati Training for Employment project launched in April 2014.

Implemented on 4 levels in 26 governorates, the program qualifies 100 thousand trainees for the job market and enhances the skills of the industrial labor force to save 50% of the vocational training in the job market.

Qabil has showcased the efforts of the Egyptian government to facilitate investment climate for investors including the Emirati ones. The government is working to overcome all obstacles and barriers that face the Emirati investments in Egypt, the minister said.

On other side, Minister Al Jaber asserted that the strong mutual relation between Egypt and UAE is fundamental to upgrade the bilateral relations in all level whether political or economic.

He noted that Egypt will witness a flow in the Emirati investments within the upcoming period backed by the efforts of the Egyptian government to improve investment climate.
