Nigeria raises rates to 26.25%

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has on Tuesday implemented a significant adjustment, raising its benchmark lending rate from 24.75 per cent to 26.25 per cent, marking a 150 basis points increase, the CBN announced through its official X account.
