Nine have been injured in clashes between supporters of ousted president Mohamed Mosi and opponents in Kafr El-Sheikh’s Kafr Magar village reported Al-Ahram Arabic news website.
Clashes erupted on Friday during a pro-Morsi march. Many protesters also chanted against the army. Injuries reported were mainly due to rock throwing between both camps.
Morsi loyalists have been taking the streets regularly since his ouster demanding his reinstatement. Violence often erupts when opponents confront Muslim Brotherhood-led demonstrations, the Islamist group from which Morsi hails.
Morsi was ousted on 3 July by the army backed by several political groups and religious figures amid mass nationwide protests against him.
