Nissan Motor Egypt has announced a major investment initiative to strengthen its presence in the local market and expand its operations. Key to these plans is the development of infrastructure, including a power generation station aimed at achieving self-sufficiency by 2025, thereby reducing dependence on external energy sources.
This announcement was made during a meeting with the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, where the company outlined its current and future strategies for the Egyptian market. In support of sustainability, Nissan will also invest in wastewater treatment facilities for irrigation purposes.
Additionally, Nissan is focusing on human resource development by establishing a technical school to train future automotive industry professionals.
