Nomos Glashütte makes some of the most beautifully uncluttered, simply styled watches available. You will have heard wristwatches described as “understated”, you may be familiar with the term “Bauhaus”, and everything in the portfolio of this youthful brand defines both descriptive.
The Tetra with its squared-off case is one of the least- known models created by Nomos. It’s small-ish, 29.5mm x 29.5mm, and perhaps one of their most feminine creations but the brand describe all of their pieces as unisex so it should also suit the recent demands for smaller men’s watches. It features the brand’s signature modernism, from the contemporary numerals to the slender pencil-shaped hands framed with a trim polished bezel. Attention to the lug design ensures continuity of form. It looked perfectly comfortable in the purity of a white dial, but these new dial colors are fresh and positively spring-like. Inside is an Alpha manufactory caliber.
