The value of National Société Générale Bank’s (NSGB) assets reached EGP 68.522 billion at the end of last March, compared to EGP 66.397 billion at the end of March 2012, registering an increase of EGP 2.12 billion.
The bank’s standalone financial statements showed that the deposit portfolio rose 5.01% (EGP 2.69 billion) to reach EGP 56.404 billion at the end of last March, compared to EGP 53.711 billion at the end of 2012.
The loans and credit facilities portfolio surged EGP 1.2 billion to reach EGP 38.335 billion at the end of last March, compared to EGP 37.061 billion at the end of March 2012.
The bank’s investments in treasury bills stood at EGP 12.571 billion at the end of last March, compared to EGP 12.205 billion at the end of March 2012.
The bank’s balanced held by other banks fell to EGP 4.617 billion at the end of last month, compared to EGP 5.380 billion at the end of March 2012. The bank’s balanced and funds held by the Central Bank of Egypt reached EGP 4.927 billion at the end of last March, up from EGP 4.029 billion at the end of March 2012.
