Egypt’s New Urban Communities Authority assigns three construction companies to start the construction of the biggest residential area in New Alamein with initial investments of 15 million Egyptian pound, a source with knowledge told Amwal Al Ghad.
The source added that NUCA has sent letters of intent to three contracting companies namely Talaat Moustafa Group, Petrojet and Concrete Plus for Engineering & Construction.
The three companies have started receiving their assigned sites and have begun the initial works in the project.
On the other hand, the project is considered to be the biggest residential area in New Alamien, situated behind Al Masa giant towers and next to the Marina. It will comprise residential buildings, villas, administrative buildings other than the various commercial and services projects.
In addition, NUCA has not selected an official name for the project yet which might be called “The Compound”.
The source added that He pointed out that the expected investment cost of the first phase of the project ranges from 12 to 15 billion pounds and is close to one million metre square. It would be delivered fully fledged.
