Oman announced on Monday launching a mega affordable residential complex in Barka governorate of the sultanate. The project which will include 1,000 housing units on a space of 355,000 square metres.
Al Naseem Neighbourhood will be the first residential project under the umbrella of Sorouh Integrated Residential Neighbourhood Project based on a partnership between the government and private sectors, reported Oman Observer.
It is being developed by the Supreme Council for Planning (SCP) in co-operation with Ministry of Housing, represented by the Directorate General for Real Estate Development, said the report.
Aimed at developing a decent and modern lifestyle for Omani citizens, the project will also boast ample green areas, cultural centres, mosques, health and commercial centres, public parks and open sports fields, it added.
