The Oman Investment Authority launched on Wednesday a two-billion Omani rial investment fund called Future Fund Oman to stimulate investments in small and medium-sized local companies, Oman News Agency said on X platform.
The fund aims at enhancing economic activity and encouraging the private sector to enter into partnerships or finance feasible investment projects to drive economic diversification in line with Vision 2040.
The fund has been established upon the directives of Oman’s Sultan Haitham Bin Tariq, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Oman’s SMEs Development Authority.
