On International Women’s Day, GIG Insurance – Egypt unveils special discount

On International Women’s Day, GIG Insurance – Egypt is offering a 50 percent discount on its personal accident insurance policy for all women starting from March 8 until March 21 which marks the Mother’s Day.

The company is offering the discount for all Egyptian women, which entails disbursing a compensation worth 50,000 Egyptian pounds ($3,178) after proper verification of the claim, GIG managing director Alaa el-Zoheiry said in a press conference.

GIG’s personal accident insurance policy will have an insurance premium of 50 pounds instead of 100 pounds after the discount, el-Zoheiry added.

International Women’s Day (IWD), celebrated on 8 March since 1977 worldwide. It is a focal point in the movement for women’s rights, aimed at celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
