OPEC releases ‘dos and don’ts’ to prevent coronavirus spread for this week meetings

The 14-member oil-producing giant OPEC has on Wednesday released a guide of ‘dos and don’ts’ to prevent the outbreak of coronavirus during its high-profile meetings scheduled for this week to discuss production policy.

The ‘dos and don’ts’ includes advising against shaking hands, hugging or kissing, and avoiding close contact with anyone that has a cough.

It is aimed at those who will attend meetings of OPEC and its non-OPEC allies led by Russia, known collectively as OPEC+. The alliance will be meeting in Vienna, Austria on March 5-6.
