Egypt’s largest carpet-maker Oriental Weavers will start establishment works on two new factories early 2015 amid expectations to see a 20% boost in carpet production capacity, CEO Salah Abdel Aziz said.
The Egyptian business official further stated that OW’s two newest factories would add around 60 new looms, which would in return bolster the Group’s carpet production.
Oriental Weavers (ORWE.CA) will inject investments amounting to EGP 100 million in favour of one of the two planned factories, Abdel Aziz noted.
