Egypt’s minister of petroleum, Osama Kamal, said delaying the implementation of rationing the energy subsidies costs the state EGP 10 billion every three months, besides the provisions included in the budget of the current year, to bolster the petroleum products estimated with EGP 70 billion.
The minister added that the previous provisions refer that the share of each quarter of the year reaches EGP 17.5 billion, while the first quarter of 2012 recorded EGP 28 billion.
