OTMT Tops EGX Volume of Trades In Week, EFG-Hermes Ninth

Amid last week trading which witnessed demonstrators clambering into the US mission in Cairo over a California-made film mocking the Prophet Muhammed , Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding (OTMT.CA) has maintained to become on the top ten active firms listed in the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

OTMT’s volume of trades hit 422 million securities worth EGP 241 million.

Orascom Telecom Holding (OTH) (ORTE.CA) has come second as its volume of trades amounted to 97.6 million securities worth EPG 371 million.

Amer Group Holding (AMER.CA) has shown to be the third as its volume of trades hit 94.2 million securities worth EGP 77.2 million.

Fourthly, Palm Hills Development (PHDC.CA) has recorded volume of trades reached 89 million securities worth EGP 288 million.

Fifthly, Arab Investment and Development (formerly AIC Contracting) (AIND.CA) has had volume of trades reached 71 million securities worth EGP 42 million.

Sixthly, Talaat Moustafa Group –TMG (TMGH.CA) has had volume of trades hit 60.5 million securities worth EGP 327 million.

Citadel Capital (CCAP.CA) has come seventh having volume of trades reached 52.7 million securities worth EGP 216.3 million.

Egyptian for Tourism Resorts (EGTS.CA) has ranked eighth as its volume of trades amounted to 48 million securities worth EGP 65.1 million.

Ninthly, EFG-Hermes Holding (HRHO.CA) has had volume of trades hit 44.4 million securities worth EGP 564 million.

Tenthly and finally, Upper Egypt General Contracting (UEGC.CA) has recorded a volume of trades reached 37.3 million securities worth EGP 56.3 million.
