PA and Shura Council in a Joint Meeting Today

The 678members of both Upper and Lower Houses of Egyptian Parliament hold today   their second meeting headed by Dr Saad Al Katatni  at CICC, Cairo International Conference Center. This meeting comes before electing the 100 members committee which will form the constituent assembly which to draft the new constitution after 25 Jan revolution.

This meeting is the second for the two councils, as the first meeting was held on March 3rd ; ended in formulating a technical committee of the two councils to receive both of the institutions and individuals’ suggestions around forming the committee which to draft new constitution for the country.

The elected members of the two councils will hold a meeting next Saturday, March 24, to elect the constituent assembly’s members.
