Petroleum ministry seeks to introduce new initiatives to improve sector

Minister of Petroleum Tarek el-Molla said that to the ministry seek announce number of initiatives to improve the petroleum sector in addition to recognize current possibilities and increase co-operation with international companies and oil industry’s experts.

He made these remarks during his speech at the opening of EGYPS 2018, taking place from February 12 to 14, 2018.

the minister further noted that an agreement with an international company will be signed to carry out a seismic survey in Suez Canal that would contribute with attracting more companies intensify exploring activities.

The EGYPS 2018 exhibition provides the largest and most important platform for industry professionls to gain insights into the upcoming oil and gas opportunities in Egypt and North Africa, from future licensing rounds, project requirements to short and long-term strategic plans and priorities.

The exhibition aims to bring together the region’s key stakeholders shaping the energy industry’s future, noted the event organizer Global Energy of dmg events in statement.
