Phantom of the Opera heads to Riyadh in October

The Phantom of the Opera Broadway musical is heading to Riyadh starting the 14th of October, said the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) on Monday.

The musical is produced by Broadway Entertainment Group in arrangement with the Really Useful Group. It is part of the RCRC’s Riyadh Life sector to provide entertainment options, matching the objectives of Vision 2030 Quality of Life program.

The show consists of 100 cast, crew, and orchestra members, with more than 230 meticulously designed costumes. The musical show will be performed 59 times in Riyadh, starting the 14th of October to the fifth of December.

The Phantom of the Opera is one of the most prominent Broadway shows and has garnered more than 70 international theatre awards. These award include seven Tony Awards on New York’s Broadway and four Olivier Awards in London’s West End.
