PM: Egypt welcomes private sector partnership in airport operation
The Egyptian Cabinet approved a deal with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to offer Egyptian airports for operation and management by the private sector, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly stated during a meeting with investors on Wednesday evening.
Madbouly also proposed that the private sector be involved in creating new airline carriers through partnerships or alliances with the government, aiming to expand Egypt’s air fleet.
The prime minister outlined the government’s strategy to enhance Egypt’s aviation sector during a meeting with investors, emphasising the importance of these initiatives in boosting the national airline industry and improving overall infrastructure.
