Commercial International Bank – Egypt (CIB) inaugurated its newest branch at The Polygon Business Park this month. The Polygon Business Park is developed by SODIC and is SODIC West’s first business park.
CIB’s Polygon branch is the bank’s second in SODIC West, after the opening of their first branch at The Strip mall earlier this year. Opening the Polygon branch comes in line with CIB’s strategy to cater to the substantial demand for financial services anticipated for the business park.
SODIC was recently named Best Office/Business Developer in Egypt in 2014 by Euromoney for its Polygon Project, which was also recognised by Cityscape as Best Commercial and Mixed Use Project – Future category in 2013. Designed by multiple-award-winning UK-based architects Wilkinson-Eyre, the Polygon Business Park consists of 9 ‘Class A’ office buildings, a business hotel and serviced apartment buildings.
Renowned for its cutting edge design, the Polygon is comprised of 250 offices over 70,000 square metres of office space equipped with state-of-the-art telecommunication networks, central cooling systems and structured floors designated for parking.
Located in the heart of SODIC West, the Polygon is within walking distance from Allegria, Beverly Hills, Forty West and Westown Residences and is strategically located on the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road, a short drive from the 26th of July Mehwar and the planned Rod El Farag corridor.
The Polygon Business Park’s first phase is 98% complete and over 90% sold or leased to companies across a range of sectors amongst which are Juhayna Food Industries, Tradeline and Animation Advertising. Over 40% of the project has been delivered to date. The last remaining buildings will be brought to the market in 2014, with the entire project expected to be completed within 2015.
