Porsche deliveries down 8% globally in Q1 ‘25

German sports car maker Porsche reported an 8 per cent drop in global deliveries in the first quarter, citing weakening demand in China and Europe.

The company delivered 71,470 vehicles worldwide during the period, with deliveries in China plunging 42 per cent and falling 10 per cent in Europe on a year-on-year basis. In its home market, Germany, deliveries slumped 34 per cent to 7,495 units.

However, North America bucked the trend, recording a 37 per cent increase in deliveries to 20,698 vehicles. The rise was partly due to import-related delays that had impacted certain model lines during the same period last year.

Separately, German carmaker Mercedes-Benz said on Monday that its first-quarter sales of cars and vans declined 7 per cent, also hit by lower demand in China and Europe.
