The Ministry of Insurance and Social Affairs will organize the annual productive families fair at the Social Fund for Development’s hall in the Fair Ground, Nasr City from 20th to 26th of September 2012.
As part of the Ministry’s efforts in alleviating the suffering of low-income people, full furniture of an economic house will be offered for sale at economic prices ranging from EGP 14,000 to EGP 20,000, in order to cater the requirements of low-income families, said Nagwa Khalil, Minister of Insurance and Social Affairs.
The Fair of this year will include the products of Egyptian families of 23 centers which are New Damietta, Farskor, Shebin Elkom, North Sinai, Suez, Ismailia, Tal ElKebir, Fakous, Zagazig, Kar El-Sheikh, Edko and Besentway. The Fair will include handicrafts, economic furniture, furnishings, garments, Alpoplan, Alkhyamih, alabaster, carpets, kilim rugs, leather products, décor accessories, food security products, hand embroidery products and heritage products made of best qualities and offered at reasonable prices.
Ahmed Shalaby, head of the Central Social Development Administration, said the project of the productive families creates many job opportunities for all segments of the society especially low-income graduates of social institutions, the productive families’ preparation centers which reached 384 and vocational training centers which reached 71 centers.
