Public investments in Egypt record $87.4 bln in four years – minister

Egypt pumped total public investments worth around 1.5 trillion Egyptian pounds ($87.4 billion) during the last four years, said Minister of Planning Hala al-Saeed on Thursday.

During the first nine months of financial year 2018/2019, public investments rose 19 percent to 310 billion pounds, al-Saeed added.

“Government investments also increased 26% to record 90 billion pounds during the first nine months of financial year 2018/2019,” she said.
