Egypt’s Samcrete Engineers and Contractors (SMCS) attained contract sales of 1.1 billion Egyptian pounds (US$64.3 million) from Pyramids Heights Residences project in 6th of October City.
CEO Hisham El-Kheshen said Tuesday that Samcrete has promoted 358 units, i.e. 57.5 percent of the project, to be delivered by 2020. The company has begun promoting the residential project in October 2016.
During a press conference, El-Kheshen stated that Samcrete signed two contracts with Constec Construction and Design (S.A.E) and Alsafa for Engineering and Contracting companies.
Each contract includes establishing 40 housing buildings with the cost of 65 million pounds .
The total volume of Samcrete’s investments is estimated at 3.2 billion pounds, divided upon the administrative complex (two billion pounds) and the housing buildings (1.2 billion pounds).
Samcrete plans to build medical centres in Pyramids Heights project on area of 60,000 square metres, the official added.
El-Kheshen further added that his company is in talks with Ministry of Electricity over using large land plot for generating electricity from solar power with the capacity of 7 Megawatts
