QNB Gets CBE’s Approval On NSGB Acquisition

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has approved Qatar National Bank (QNB)’s request to acquire the National Société Générale Bank (NSGB), according to a filing posted on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) website.

Acquisition procedures will be taken with official authorities according to the Egyptian laws, the release stated.
