Ration Cards to Record 17 Mln in Two Years

The Ministry of State for Administrative Development intends to add 2 million smart ration card during the next two years. Whereupon, the total number of cards will reach 17 million.

Dr. Ahmed Samir, Deputy Minister of Administrative Development stated that the Ministry will cooperate in the next period with the cabinet and the Ministry of Social Solidarity (MSS)  to in increase the number of people who benefit from the subsidized supply commodities, adding two million families in the two coming years.

In exclusive statements to Amwal Al Ghad, Samir said “we have finalized replacing all paper ration cards with smart cards.
