Russia rolls out 880 projects in Arctic development push

Russia is advancing with over 880 investment projects in its Arctic Zone, according to Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev.

At the Arctic Regions Forum, Trutnev reported the establishment of 230 new enterprises and 16,000 jobs in the region.

Trutnev also underscored the need to develop domestic technologies and enhance the Northern Sea Route as part of Russia’s strategic shift eastwards.
