Russia’s transport machine building sector experienced an 8 per cent growth in manufacturing output during the first half of 2024, Prime Minister, Mikhail Mishustin, announced.
Production saw significant increases across various categories: passenger cars by two-thirds, locomotives by nearly 1.5 times, railcars by 40 per cent, and buses by around 20 per cent.
Mishustin emphasised that enhancing industrial potential in transport mobility is a key focus for achieving strategic development goals.
