Russia and Thailand are set to conclude 2024 with a trade turnover of around $2 billion, Russian Ambassador to Bangkok Evgeny Tomikhin announced on Tuesday.
The growth in bilateral trade has increased by 6-11 per cent, with both nations optimistic about future expansion.
The ambassador highlighted the successful forums and events held in Thailand this year, which have fostered stronger business ties across sectors such as energy, transport, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals.
Despite ongoing sanctions, both countries are focused on long-term cooperation, ensuring continued trade growth in the coming year.
