The Egyptian-Russian Business Forum has kicked off in Cairo Monday, with the participation of 60 Russian firms seeking to deepen trade ties with Egyptian counterparts.
Egyptian Minister of Industry, Tarek Qabil has inaugurated the forum, which is designated to showcase the investment opportunities in Egypt.
During the forum, Egypt and Russia are set to sign a number of significant deals including an agreement to establish the Russian industrial zone in Suez Canal.
The 60 participating firms from Russia are operating in areas of transport, oil, electricity, aviation, and agriculture.
