Russian stocks open lower on Tuesday early trade

The Russian stock market opened lower on Tuesday on the Moscow Exchange, with the MOEX Index dropping 0.88 per cent to 3,405.82 points and the dollar-denominated RTS Index declining 0.99 per cent to 1,174.43 points, as per TASS citing trading data at 10:00 a.m. Moscow time (07:00 a.m. GMT).

By 10:22 a.m. (07:22 a.m. GMT), the MOEX had further decreased by 0.43 per cent to 3,421.34 points, and the RTS had fallen by 0.23 per cent to 1,183.37 points.

At 10:23 a.m. (07:23 a.m. GMT), the exchange rates for the dollar, euro, and yuan were all down on the Moscow Exchange, with the dollar falling by 0.3 per cent to 91.08 rubles, the euro decreasing by 0.3 per cent to 98.15 rubles, and the yuan dropping by 0.32 per cent to 12.605 rubles.
