Russian stocks rise at Tuesday’s opening trading
Russia’s stock market opened higher on Tuesday, with the MOEX Index rising by 0.18 per cent to 3,305.11 points and the dollar-denominated RTS Index gaining 0.25 per cent to 1,176.87 points as of 10:00 am Moscow time (07:00 am GMT), according to TASS.
By 10:25 am (07:25 am GMT), the MOEX had climbed by 0.74 per cent to 3,323.74 points, while the RTS had increased by 0.86 per cent to 1,184 points.
In currency trading, the dollar exchange rate declined by 0.21 per cent to 88.43 rubles on Moscow Exchange, the euro dropped by 0.12 per cent to 96.15 rubles, and the yuan decreased by 0.21 per cent to 12.151 rubles.
