Russian stocks rise on Tuesday

The Russian stock market opened positively on Tuesday, with data from the Moscow Exchange indicating significant gains.

The MOEX Russia Index rose by 0.46 per cent, surpassing 3,200 points for the first time since June 17.

Meanwhile, the RTS Index increased by 0.18 per cent, reaching 1,151.81 points. In the currency market, the yuan appreciated by 1.7 kopecks to 11.893 roubles.
