Russia’s agricultural exports have continued to flourish, reaching a new milestone of 74 million tons in 2024. This represents a seven per cent increase compared to the same period in 2023, according to Agriculture Minister Oksana Lut.
The expansion of agricultural exports is driven by the development of new markets in Africa, Asia, and the Arabian Gulf, she said at an expanded meeting of the State Duma Committee on agrarian issues.
Russia exported over 100 million tons of food in the previous year, totalling $43.5 billion in agricultural supplies to foreign markets.
