Russia’s GDP growth revised up to 4.7% for H1 ’24
Russia’s GDP growth estimate for the first half of 2024 has been revised upward from 4.6 per cent to 4.7 per cent, according to the national statistics service, Rosstat. The revision follows an earlier adjustment to the second-quarter growth figure, which was increased from 4 per cent to 4.1 per cent.
Rosstat also confirmed that the GDP growth rate for the first quarter of 2024 remains unchanged at 5.4 per cent year-on-year. These revisions highlight Russia’s steady economic performance in the first half of the year.
