S. Korea’s consumer price index rises in Feb. ’25

South Korea’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) reached 116.08 in February 2025, marking a 0.3 per cent increase from the previous month and a 2.0 per cent rise compared to February 2024, as per data released from Statistics Korea on Thursday.

The core CPI, which excludes food and energy prices, stood at 112.29 in February 2025. This represents a 0.1 per cent monthly increase and a 1.8 per cent rise year-on-year, the statement added.
