South Korea’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased 0.1 per cent in September 2024 compared to the previous month, reaching 114.65, according to a report published Statistics Korea on Wednesday.
Year-over-year, the CPI rose by 1.6 per cent in September, indicating a moderate increase in prices compared to the same period last year.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages, housing, utilities, healthcare, and education saw increases of 1.4 per cent, 1.3 per cent, 0.1 per cent, 0.1 per cent, and 0.1 per cent respectively compared to the previous month.
